Introducing Laugharoo, home to Ireland’s funniest stand-up comedian within the hospitality industry.
Behind every established Hotel, Pub, distillery and liquor store, you always meet welcoming and hardworking staff members. What people don’t realise that behind every bar counter, there are individual characters that would light up a stage, if they were given a chance too.
So we at team Laugharoo, who are also Bartenders, have been for 10 years plus years and counting, have decided to come together and organise an event. This event will take place on the 26th of march 2025, in the Set Theatre, Kilkenny.
Caoimhe a local musician from Kilkenny, will be playing at the beginning of the show to give the guests a warm welcome before the show.
This event, will host some big comedians such as Patser Murray, Dan Stephens, Joe Dowling and Peter Felton.
Each set is approximately 20/30 minutes long.
DJ Matt (who is a member of the Keltic Kats band) will then play into the night after the gig until 2am.
Patser Murray (HEADLINER)
A regular in all top comedy clubs around the country. Has supported Des Bishop, Jason Byrne Al Porter Jimmy Carr, and more.
Patser is also an actor and was cast in season 3 of Love/Hate as a dodgy Irish republican criminal.

Dubliner Joe Dowling (AKA Joeirish) has been performing standup throughout Ireland and the UK for the past ten years and recently USA
He’s a regular at top clubs such as Dublin’s Laughter Lounge, Ha’penny Comedy club, Craic Den , and Liverpool’s Hot Water Comedy Club among others as well festivals Electric Picnic, All Together Now, Edinburgh Fringe, Galway Comedy Festivals and Bray Comedy Festival

From Blanchardstown, Dublin. Won Ireland’s Next Top Comic in January 2024, Supported Joe Dowling at Liberty Hall in August 2024. Headlined at several Comedy Clubs in the US including 2 sold out shows at Cristy B Comedy Club in Palm Coast, Florida in November 2024.
